TEAM FOR FURUSIYYA NATIONS CUP, WELLINGTON

The team for the  CSIO 4* FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup which takes place in Wellington, Florida on Friday the 28th February 2014 has been announced as follows.

Scott Brash MBE,  the current World No.1 ranked rider from Peebleshire with Hello Annie a 10 year old bay mare owned by Lady Kirkham and Lady Harris. 

Tim Gredley from Essex and currently based in Florida will be competing his own 13 year-old grey gelding Chamberlain Z . 

Ben Maher MBE from Bishops Stortford and the current World No.2 ranked rider with Diva II, a British Bred 9 year-old chesnut mare owned by Tatiana Korsokova and bred by Liz and Ted Edgar.

Gemma Paternoster from Surrey and whom is also based in the USA will be riding her own 18 year-old  bay gelding Osiris with whom she secured the Individual European Young Rider Championship title in 2006.

Rob Hoekstra, the World Class Showjumping Performance Manager arrived in Wellington this morning and will be at the event with his team until after the Grand Prix takes place on Sunday.

The Nations Cup event takes place on Friday at 19:00 hrs local time (GMT -5 hours) and will see twelve teams competing.  The three teams jumping for points in the North America, Central America and Caribbean League will be Canada, Mexico and the host nation USA.
