Team Fairfax Announced for Bonheiden Nations Cup Show

The following Junior and Young Rider squads have been announced for the Nations Cup show in Bonheiden, Belgium between the 9-12th May 2013 

The competitors representing Great Britain will ride under the Team Fairfax banner with four from each squad being selected to compete in their respective Nations Cup teams.  The Junior Nations Cup takes place on the 11th May at 13:00 hrs local time and the Young Riders Nations Cup at 16:00 hrs.
 

Young Riders:
Abbe Burchmore-Eames, aged 20 from Berkhamsted with her fathers (Jack Eames) 10 year old bay gelding Wilandr E

Clark Glasgow, aged 21yrs from Chipping Norton with his mothers (Marjorie) 11 year-old bay gelding Corlando of Cavallini

Sally Hopkinson, aged 18yrs from Womersley, North Yorks with her father’s (David) 13 year-old chestnut gelding Theunis.

Carian Scudamore, aged 20yrs from Cardigan, Dyfed with her father’s (Nigel) 14 year-old chestnut gelding Larino 0087.

 

Juniors:
Carmen Edwards
, aged 16yrs from Ellesmere with either Casper Z a 10yr old bay gelding or Zarissa, a 9 year-old grey mare both of which are owned by Carmen’s parents Amanda and Carl.

Emma O’Dwyer, aged 18yrs from Gloucester with her mother’s (Joanne) 10 year-old grey mare Miss Tonic.

Laura Robinson, aged 18yrs from Northallerton with her fathers (Geoffrey) 14 year-old chestnut gelding Cree Cruiser.

Jake Saywell, aged 16yrs from Newark with Rachel Gascoine’s 12 year-old grey gelding Cornelius 27

Tim Wilks, aged 18yrs from Henley-on-Thames with In Showjumpers 9 year-old chestnut mare Spirit VIII

The British youth teams are sponsored by Fairfax Saddles.  It is Fairfax’s primary aim to improve the performance of the competition horse. All the saddles and girths are developed using the most advanced technology and are tested extensively. All research and design work is carried out under the direction of Vanessa Fairfax, an ex-International showjumper and University qualified designer. The company is based in Walsall and manufactures all its own products.

The GB Showjumping Teams are strongly supported by the UK Sport Lottery funded BEF World Class Programme. They Pony teams are further supported by Champion Hats, Next and Animo.
