SATURDAY ROUND UP FROM THE EASIBED BSJA SCOPE FESTIVAL OF SHOW JUMPING

SKELTON STEALS THE BRITISH SHOW JUMPING BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP
NATIONAL 6 YEAR OLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Nick Skelton from Alcester, Warwickshire won the British Show Jumping Business Partnership National 6 Year Old Championship with his impressive stallion Big Star at the Easibed British Show Jumping Scope Festival of Show Jumping.
Nick rode Beverley Widdowson’s six year old bay stallion to take the title jumping three clear rounds in a jump off time of 38.37 seconds. Di Lampard riding Diana Friend’s Puck II jumped three clears also to take the second spot in a time of 45.16 seconds. Third place went to Danielle Ryder riding her own Lennon V Z. The pair had 4 faults in the final round in a time of 45.69 seconds.

ROMANOV II REIGNS!
Philip Spivey had a deserved win on Romanov II in the British Show Jumping Easibed Elite National Championship at the Easibed British Show Jumping Scope Festival of Show Jumping.
Philip from Gayton, Northamptonshire rode Tracey Forrest’s eleven year old chestnut stallion to jump three clear rounds in a final jump off time of 33.27 seconds. Laura Renwick was a close second riding her own Limelight de Breve with three clear rounds in a time of 34.70 seconds. William Funnell took third with one of the up and coming Billy Stud horses, Billy Congo. The pair jumped three clear rounds in final time of 36.02 seconds.

NORTH YORKSHIRE TEAM TAKE THE NATIONAL
TEAM JUMPING CHAMPIONSHIP
The North Yorkshire Team earned the National Team Championship Title at the Easibed British Show Jumping Scope Festival of Show Jumping on Saturday 5th September 2009. Twelve teams consisting of four riders and their mounts battled it out for the title over a grueling and testing course. Second place went to Area 22B from Staffordshire and West Midlands with Area 48 from Somerset taking third.
