Nicole Pavitt and Our Duchess wins the Moet & Chandon Masters

Twenty-six year old Nicole Pavitt from Crawley, West Sussex with Our Duchess a 11 year-old bay mare owned by Marcela Esnaola were victorious in the Moet & Chandon Masters Grand Prix on Saturday 1`7th January 2015. The class, which held the biggest prize purse at British Showjumping Premier Show, Bury Farm Equestrian Village in Buckinghamshire saw some fantastic competition and competitors come forward.
The jump off of fifteen combinations, which was half of starting field, saw five further clears produced. With just over three seconds separating the top five, it was an exciting jump off to watch, but it was Nicole and Our Duchess that jumped the fastest time of 42.25 seconds to claim the top spot as theirs.
Second place went to 21 year-old Yazmin Pinchen from Sussex with her mother Nancy’s 12 year-old liver chestnut stallion Van De Vivaldi after this combination produced their double clear in 43.57 seconds.
Third went to 40 year-old Laura Renwick from Essex and she was on board Rembrandt Blue a 10 year-old grey gelding owned by David Rogers, they gained their double clear and stopped the clock in 43.95 seconds.
