LAURA PRITCHARD WINS THE 2009 JOHN WHITAKER INTERNATIONAL WINTER JA CLASSIC QUALIFIER

 
Fourteen year old Laura Pritchard from Holyhead, Gwynedd took first place in the John Whitaker International Winter JA Classic Qualifier, held at The Hand Equestrian Centre in Clevedon. Laura had already book her place for the 2009 final which is to be held at The Royal Show in the summer.
 
Laura riding Tracy Pritchards’ twelve year old grey gelding Baussy Jones jumped three clear rounds in a jump off time of 31.45 seconds. Second place went to Jessica Mendoza from Chippenham, Wiltshire. Jessica riding Sarah Mendoza’s eleven year old chestnut mare Tixylix jumped three clear rounds in a jump off time of 31.57 seconds. Third place went to Timothy Wilks securing his place in the final. Timothy riding Caroline Wilks eleven year old coloured gelding The colour Of Money jumped three clear rounds in a jump off time of 33.35 seconds. Fourth place went to Laura Robinson securing her place in the final. Laura riding Neal Robinsons’ ten year old grey gelding Paddy Power jumped three clear rounds in a jump off time of 36.38 seconds. Fifth place went to Chad Fellows securing his place in the final. Chad riding Amanda Hilliards’ twelve year old dark bay gelding Snatch, jumped three clear rounds in a jump off time of 36.53 seconds.
