INGLIS WINS AT THE HAND

Saturday 23rd January saw thirteen year old Amy Inglis from Haywards Heath, West Sussex take the title in the John Whitaker International Winter JA Classic qualifier held at The Hand Equestrian Centre. The final is being held at the British Open in April.
Amy rode into first place with Mandy Hall and Claire Inglis’ nine year old bay gelding Nils D’ Hurl Vent with three clears in a time of 39.04 seconds. Second place was awarded to Abigail Newbery from Hampshire, who rode Tony Newbery’s nine year old bay mare Pauldarys Pocket Rocket. The pair jumped three clear rounds in a time of 42.42 seconds. Jessica Mendoza from Wiltshire came third with her mothers, Sarah Mendoza’s twelve year old chestnut gelding Tixylix who had four faults in the jump off in a time of 38.67 seconds.
