Hartpury College Host Tri-Zone Airlite Senior Discovery Regional Final

The Tri-Zone Airlite Senior Discovery Regional Finals continued this weekend at Hartpury College in Hartpury, Gloucestershire. The regional final ran on Sunday 5th May and it attracted 33 starting combinations.
From the 33 starting combinations, 6 went on to produce the treble clear required to qualify for the Tri-Zone Airlite Senior Discovery Championship Final, which will be held at the Alexanders Horseboxes British Showjumping Scope Festival (25th – 31st August 2013).
The win was taken by 25 year-old Ami Measor from Abingdon, Oxfordshire and she rode Darcy Grey, a 6 year-old grey mare owned by Penelope Grimster. The combination achieved an immaculate treble clear in 39.53 seconds to ensure that the lead belonged to them.
Second place was taken by 21 year-old Amy Thompson from Cardiff, South Glamorgan on board her own 18 year-old bay gelding, Smart Baby. This combination produced their treble clear in a time of 40.41 seconds.
Finishing in third was 23 year-old Lauren Fois from Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire and she was on her own 6 year-old dark bay gelding Concorde Two. This combination produced their third clear in a time of 43.44 seconds.
A further 3 riders also achieved a treble clear and a total of 6 combinations qualified for the Tri-Zone Airlite Senior Discovery Championship Final.

The Alexanders Horseboxes British Showjumping Scope Festival 2013 will take place from the 25th – 31st August 2013 at Staffordshire County Showground.
