Equitop Myoplast® to celebrate second year of sponsorship of the Senior Foxhunter Championship

Following a successful first year of sponsorship, Equitop Myoplast®, the leading nutritional supplement which supports lean muscle growth in horses, will be continuing their alignment with the prestigious British Showjumping Senior Foxhunter Championship for a second year.

The Equitop Myoplast® Senior Foxhunter Championship is a notable favourite in the national showjumping calendar and is also one of the most important for those contesting it. It is for registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 700 points and they are to be ridden by an Adult, Associate or Junior Member. All registered horses aged seven years and under in the same calendar year as the Championship Final, irrespective of points, are also eligible to compete. The 2018 series will once again culminate at Horse of the Year Show at Birmingham’s Genting Arena (3rd – 7th October 2018).

Equitop Myoplast® is committed to supporting showjumpers and the equestrian industry through highlighting the benefits of its product amongst all riders, trainers and equine enthusiasts. Equitop Myoplast® has been designed with the aim of helping horses respond to the demands of training and rehabilitation. It is a unique amino acid supplement which provides horses with the building blocks needed for lean muscle growth. It has been tested free of doping relevant substances.

Many leading riders use Equitop Myoplast® and brand ambassadors include international showjumpers Scott Brash, Nicole Pavitt, Trevor Breen, Corinne Collins, William Whitaker and Joe Davison. Matt Sampson, Equitop Myoplast Senior Foxhunter Champion 2017, has recently been added to the brand ambassador portfolio too.

Liz Barrett, Equine Business Manager for Equitop Myoplast commented "We are delighted to be sponsoring this prestigious Series and Championship for a second year. The Senior Foxhunter is now synonymous with Equitop Myoplast and this partnership helps us to highlight the benefits of Equitop Myoplast in supporting lean muscle growth and helping horses respond to the demands of training and competition.”

Maria Haig, British Showjumping Head of Communications, added "Equitop Myoplast have proven to be a superb partner for British Showjumping not only in the title sponsorship of the Senior Foxhunter but also in other ways within the sport. As a result, we couldn’t be happier to have them aligned with one of the most respected National Championships in the country.”

Grandstand Media, organisers of Horse of the Year Show, furthered “We are delighted to have Equitop Myoplast on board for the Senior Foxhunter Championship Final at Horse of the Year Show for the second year running. It is one of the most prestigious finals we host and is always well contested.”

Eligible combinations have been competing in the Equitop Myoplast® Senior Foxhunter First Rounds since 1st June 2017 and competitors have until the 31st May 2018 to obtain the four double clears required to qualify for the Equitop Myoplast® Senior Foxhunter Second Rounds, which will be held during May – July 2018.
