Equestrian sessions included in ‘third time lucky’ Olympic ticket sales

Wednesday 09 May 2012

A further 900,000 tickets for London 2012 Olympic events are to be released over the next week including tickets to some equestrian sessions. They will be sold on a first come, first served basis exclusively to the one million people who applied in previous rounds of Olympic ticket sales and were not successful in securing a ticket.

First priority will be given to the 20,000 people who were unsuccessful, first in the initial Olympic ballot application and then again when they applied in the second chance sales due to the high demand.   These people will be given the opportunity to purchase tickets for over thirty different sports, including dressage, eventing and jumping sessions, from 11am on Friday 11 May to 6pm the following day.

One million people who applied in the initial ballot but were unsuccessful will then be eligible to purchase the remaining tickets from next Sunday, May 13. These tickets will be released on a daily schedule as follows
