Emily Ward wins the Bury Farm Development Classic 1.35m Grand Prix

Monday 14 January 2013

Out of a field of forty nine riders, 14-year-old Cheshire based Emily Ward riding Michael Whitaker and Nick Ward’s 10-year-old dark brown mare, Witch took the top spot in the Bury Farm Development Classic Grand Prix yesterday, 13th January.

With less than two seconds separating the top five riders it was an exciting jump off which saw spectators on the edge of their seats watching competitors fight it out across the course built by Paul Connor. 2nd place was taken by Essex’s Zoe Adams riding her own 11-year old bay gelding Satonamillion and 3rd was Buckinghamshire’s based Helen Tredwell with her own 17-year-old chestnut mare Opportunity B.
