Dodson & Horrell 95cm and 1.10m National Amateur Second Rounds at The Cabin Equestrian Centre

Stuart Muirhead dominated both Dodson & Horrell National Amateur Second Round qualifiers at The Cabin Equestrian Centre in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, taking victory in both classes to ensure qualification for the Dodson & Horrell National Amateur Championships at Aintree Equestrian Centre in Liverpool on 13 – 18 November
Dodson & Horrell 1.10m National Amateur Second Round
Stuart Muirhead from Kintore, Aberdeenshire convincingly claimed the win in the Dodson & Horrell 1.10m National Amateur Second Round without the need of a jump-off. He jumped the only first round clear over course-designer Colin Hexley’s 11-fence track on Gary Charlish’s Harelferg Dramatiker, a 13-year-old mare he first competed two years ago.

Dodson & Horrell 95cm National Amateur Second Round
Nine competitors contended the Dodson & Horrell 95cm National Amateur Second Round with eight posting first round clears to reach the jump-off, but Stuart nevertheless again claimed the lion’s share of the prizes.
On this occasion he rode his own 17-year-old mare Merllyns Mondena into to the top spot and claimed second place on Harelferg Dramatiker, just 0.95 seconds separating the two.
