Five combinations achieved Championship qualification from this second round after first making it through to the jump off.

Two double clears were delivered in total and the fastest of these came from 15 year-old Mark Poskitt from Goole, North Humberside on his mother Clare’s 8 year-old brown mare Coromandel. This saw the combination finish just ahead of their nearest rivals.

Narrowly pipped into second was 15 year-old Katie Benbow from Goole, North Humberside with her father Simon’s 9 year-old chestnut mare Ruby St Loise. Their double clear was clocked up in 31.60 seconds, just 0.12 of a second behind Mark and Coromandel.
