COULD YOU BE A BRITISH SHOWJUMPING REGIONAL CHAMPION?

The dates and venues are now booked for the Regional Club Championships and there is still a chance for you to be named as one of British Showjumping’s Regional Champions. 

There will be eight Championship Titles on offer, four for those competing on ponies and four for those on horses with a title in each section for 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 1.0metre.   In addition to a Regional Championship title there will also be rosettes, sashes, rugs and prizes to those who win the Championship classes on the day.

Club members who have been accruing league points throughout the year will be receiving their invitations to compete in their Championship class shortly.  However, for those that haven’t obtained the right yet to automatic entry there is still the opportunity to qualify at the event via a ‘Golden Ticket’ qualifying class which will run across each of the four height categories within both Horse and Pony sections.  You do not have to be a member to participate in the Golden Ticket class but you will need to become a Club Member if you wish to compete in the Championship Final.  Club membership is just £30 for yourself and your horse/pony for year which entitles you to the benefits of Club Membership and inclusion on the regional league tables.

The Regional Leagues finished at the end of May for 2012 and the winners will be announced shortly once the grading has been finalised for the 2011-2012 leagues.  The League winners will all be given recognition at the 2012 Awards Ball which takes place on the 2^nd October at the Hilton Metropole NEC.
