CHILDREN, JUNIOR & YOUNG RIDER EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP SQUADS ANNOUNCED

British Showjumping are pleased to announce the squads representing Great Britain at the FEI Children, Junior and Young Rider Championships in Magna Racino, Austria between 14th-19th August.

Children
13 year-old Morgan Carpenter from Holywell, Clwyd will partner Amanda Carpenters British Bred 9 year-old iron grey mare Merllyns Maitrix
13 year-old Emily Ward from Neston, Cheshire will partner Witch a 9 year-old dark brown mare jointly owned by Michael Whitaker and Nick Ward
13 year-old Ella Popely from Haywards Heath, West Sussex will partner Sandra Pavitt’s 12 year-old bay mare Amaryllis Van De Heffink
Tania Moody based in Spain will partner Kevin Moody’s 11 year-old bay mare Nicky D Artemis
13 year-old Olivia Poole from Shrewsbury, Shropshire will partner Michelle Poole’s 14 year-old dark Bay mare Residenz

19 year-old Emma Stoker from Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire will partner Carron Nicol 9year-old bay gelding Wilando B
21 year-old Lucy Guild from Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire will partner her own 12 year-old Dark Bay Gelding Titi D Oase
19 year-old Spencer Roe from Lincoln, Lincolnshire will partner Sally Roe’s 9 year-old bay gelding Wonder Why
The squads will be arriving at the championships on Monday 13th August where they will spend time settling their horses in to the stables prior to the first horse inspections on Tuesday 14th August. Competition starts on Tuesday 14th August for all three age groups with Team medals being decided on Friday 17th and Individual medals on Saturday 18th August.
A total of 47 Nations across Europe have been invited to contest the Championships under the guidance of Chef d’Equipe and Team Coach Corinne Bracken.
