British Showjumping’s Team NAF Youth Squads Announced for Wierden Nations Cups

The following squads has been selected to represent Great Britain under the title sponsor banner of Team NAF in the Children, Junior and Young Rider Nations Cup in Wierden, Netherlands as follows. The competition takes place between the 7th – 10th June 2017 at the Dutch Youngster Festival.

Anneliese Aitken, aged 14, from Ayrshire with MHS Walk The Line, an 8 year-old chestnut mare owned by Nanette Aitken

Jodie Burchmore-Eames, aged 14, from Northchurch, Hertfordshire with Casti Aneira, a 10 year-old grey mare owned by Abbe Burchmore-Eames

Oliver Fletcher, aged 14, from Faringdon, Oxfordshire with either Dahar, a 9 year-old chestnut mare owned by Graham Fletcher or Hello Disckoboy D.N., a 9 year-old grey gelding owned by Lady Kirkham and Lady Harris

Matilda Lanni, aged 13, from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire with Newbridges Master Brown, an 11 year-old bay gelding owned by Stacey Webb

Jocasta Symons, aged 14, from Marlborough, Wiltshire with the British bred Concordette RR, a 10 year-old bay mare owned by Julie Symons

Angel Tough, aged 13, from Manchester with the British bred Callumbus, a 10 year-old bay gelding owned by Emerson Tough

Aimee Jones, aged 20, from Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire with Never Last, a 13 year-old dark bay gelding owned by Susan Jones

Jake Saywell, aged 20, from Newark, Nottinghamshire with Havinia Van De Roshoeve, a 10 year-old grey mare owned by Rachel Gascoine

Theo Simpson, aged 20, from Buckhurst Hill, Essex with the British bred Touch of Chilli, a 13 year-old chestnut gelding owned by David Simpson

Chelsea Skelton, aged 20, from Gainsborough, Lincolnshire with the British bred Millfield Baloney, an 11 year-old bay gelding owned by Judith Whitham

The Junior and Young Rider Nations Cup competitions take place on Thursday 8th June and the Children’s Nations Cup takes place on Friday 9th June. The Young Rider Grand Prix will be on Friday 9th June whilst the Children and Junior Grand Prix’s will run on Saturday 10th June. The Chef d’Equipe’s accompanying the teams will be Tony Newbery and Clare Whitaker.
