BRITISH SHOWJUMPING AWARDS BALL - WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Yesterday evening (8th October 2013) saw 500 guests flock through the doors of the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham for the much anticipated British Showjumping Awards Ball 2013. 

This year has been yet another phenomenal year for British Showjumping; the highlights being when a Team Gold, Individual Silver and Individual Bronze were secured at the European Championships furthered by Ben Maher being announced as the World's leading rider shortly afterwards. 

During last night’s Award Ball we acknowledged just some of the sports finest moments with the award winners being announced as:

Best Pony Rider of the Year – Millie Allen 

Best Rider Under 21 Years (On Horses) of the Year – Chloe Aston 

Rider’s Rider of the Year – Ben Maher MBE

International Combination of the Year – Ben Maher MBE & Cella

Members Show Venue of the Year – All England Jumping Course

Members Annual Show of the Year – Longines Royal International Horse Show

International Stairway League Winner  - Tim Page & Quentin Tarantino

British Breeders Award – Billy Congo (Billy Stud)

British Showjumping Coach of the Year – Philippa Curry

Members Personality of the Year – Ben Maher MBE
