British Showjumping - Communications Assistant

British Showjumping is an Olympic Sport and competes under the Team GBR banner. Looking after the sport in Great Britain, British Showjumping formulates the rules and codes of practice under which all affiliated competitions are held. Our purpose is to improve and maintain standards of showjumping, while encouraging members of all standards and at all levels to enjoy fair competition.
A vacancy has arisen for a full time member of staff to join the team at Stoneleigh as a Communication Assistant.
Working as an individual within the team you will work across a full span of marketing activities from the day-to-day administrative needs of the department through to the Creative, Social Networking, and Project Management side.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and self-motivated individual with previous experience within a marketing environment. Experience in Word, Excel, Indesign, Photoshop and Powerpoint are essential. A commercial approach to opportunities as they arise in addition to the enjoyment of working to tight deadlines and the ability to multi task would also be preferred.
The role may require working at external venues and outside of office hours from time to time along with a flexible and ‘can do’ approach.
