BEF Board Director: Commercial Affairs & BEF Board Director: International Affairs

Friday 11 July 2014

Two non-executive directors are sought with experience and competency to deliver the strategy for these areas of BEF’s work. The successful candidates will be elected by and be responsible to the BEF Council, representing the Federation’s member bodies and will be supported by the BEF’s executive staff.  BEF Board Members have collective responsibility for all Federation activities.

These positions are voluntary, with reasonable expenses, and offer the opportunity for close involvement in an exciting phase in the development of equestrian sport.  Knowledge of the equestrian industry or of another sport is an advantage.  There are approximately 10 meetings of the Board held per year at Abbey Park, Stareton, Warwickshire.

All Board Members are expected to meet the highest standards of integrity. A self declaration covering bankruptcy, a DBS check (as appropriate) and identity check will be required.

The British Equestrian Federation is committed to equal opportunities and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
