 British Showjumping  have joined the new fundraising lottery ‘Give and Win: Sport’  to help raise funds that can be reinvested back into the sport.

British Showjumping have joined the new fundraising lottery ‘Give and Win: Sport’ to help raise funds that can be reinvested back into the sport.

Give and Win: Sport is the new £2 a ticket fundraising lottery, where a number of sports have joined forces to make the prize pot more attractive.  The commitment from Give and Win is that a minimum of 50% of the ticket price is reinvested back into the sport from the website that the ticket purchase originated from. 

The Give and Win: Sport lottery gives players the supporter a chance to win £25,000 and what is more, when the supporter wins the sport they are aligned with wins too!

This investment back into the sport is, in turn, then re-invested into programmes at both a regional and national level that will assist progress the sport or assist develop those competing within it at a grass roots level.

The Give and Win: Sport initiative has been developed by Capen and the Sport & Recreation Alliance to assist sports at all levels.  Simon Rydings, CEO of Give and Win: Sport said “We put Give and Win: Sport together to assist sports deliver programmes both regionally and nationally. By joining a cross-section of sports within a much larger lottery, we aim to make a real impact on their fundraising at no cost to themselves”.

Lottery tickets can be purchased via the national British Showjumping website or the link on each of the sports regional website pages.  Each £2 ticket is based upon the results of the first six digits of the German Spiel 77 lottery which is drawn every Saturday at 17:45 GMT. 

To assist raise funds at a regional level, British Showjumping have set up each region with their own Give and Win: Sport link from their regional website and social media pages.  For each ticket purchased via one of the regional pages 50% of the funds received by British Showjumping will be allocated to the region from which the sale originated for investment solely within the region.
