WONDERBOY WINS £20,000 IN ZURICH

The stunning grey gelding, Wonderboy III, owned by the Quainton Stud and Ben Maher, took victory in the Rolex Grand Prix in Zurich on Friday night.

 

Jumping the fastest clear round of the 42 strong starting field, Wonderboy III ridden by Ben Maher beat Frenchman Timothee Anciaume by over a second. Third place went to Switzerland’s Pius Schwizer.

 

The £20,000 winners purse was a fitting early birthday present for Ben, who celebrated his 27^th birthday on Saturday.

2^nd Timothee Anciaume FRA Lamm de Fetan – 0 61.78 secs

3^rd Pius Schwizer SUI Carlina IV – 0 62.42 secs
