Junior Points League

We are excited to announce for 2018 our very own Devon area point’s competition.                          The competition will run from 1st January 2018 to 2nd December 2018 for BS junior affiliated combinations that reside in Devon. The competition is free to enter. 

Points are awarded as per placings on British show jumping pony records. 

10 points – 1st place  

9 points– 2nd place  

8 points – 3rd place  

7 points – 4th place  

6 points – 5th place  

5 points – 6th Place  

4 points – 7th place 

3 points – 8th place  

2 points – 9th place  

1 point – 10th + place  

Table A classes where a double clear is achieved then 5 points will be awarded.  

Double points are awarded for placings in second rounds, national championship classes and any placings at the Devon Area Show 2018.  

Triple points are awarded for placings in all major grand prix finals (HOYS, Hickstead, Pony of the Year, Scope & BS National Championships) 

Awards will be given for: 

Novice 128 Pony, Novice 138 Pony, and Novice 148 Pony 

Open 128 Pony, Open 138 Pony, and Open 148 Pony 

Devon Academy Junior leading Master 

Devon Academy Junior leading Maiden 

Perpetual Trophy’s for winners, Prizes in kind down to 3rd place. 

Also we have a Devon Junior Academy Style and Performance (Judged at the Devon Area Show) 

Riders must be British Show jumping members and reside in the county of Devon,  

Horses / Ponies entered in the Novice section must not exceed 699 points (or will automatically be transferred to the open section).
